Exploring Phipps Conservatory. I adore plants and am a plant mom myself, so walking over to Phipps is always a lot of fun. It's a botanical garden located right near campus, and we also get access for free with our CMU ID cards! They constantly change up the plant exhibitions, so I always know I'll see some really cool new plants whenever I visit.
La Prima! I love coffee and pastries, so I always find myself at La Prima ordering a latte. La Prima is located within Wean Hall, where a bunch of my math classes are, so it's super easy to pop over there whenever I'm craving a cheese danish. It's always lots of fun to see my friends in line and try to catch a seat so that I can get a bit of studying in between classes.
Russian for Heritage Speakers! I got to take this course the spring of my first year, and it was a small class full of other Russian kids like myself. The class was taught by a professor from a Moscow University, and it taught me a bunch about my first language.
The Fence! One of my first memories at CMU was painting The Fence, and it was one of the most CMU things I've ever done. My friends and I painted it our first week at CMU, and we all bonded and had a lot of fun painting under the shroud of darkness.
